INGREDIENTS
- 4 Boneless chicken breasts, 8 halves, skin removed
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced or pressed
- 1-1/2 – 2 t Salt (optional)
- 2 t Ginger (grated)
- 1 t Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 t Ground cumin
- 2 t Curry powder
- 1 t Dried oregano leaves
- 4 T Soy sauce
- 4 T Vegetable oil
- 1 T lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place chicken breasts in a single layer in glass or ceramic pan.
- Mix garlic and salt. Blend in ginger, pepper, cumin if used, curry powder and oregano.
- Blend in the soy sauce, oil, and lemon juice.
- Spread the mixture over chicken breasts, coating each piece well.
- Cover. Refrigerate 3 hours or as long as 1 day.
- Heat barbecue coals until they are evenly coated with white ash.
- Place chicken breasts on grill. Cook about 5 minutes on each side. Remove from grill.
